THANKSGIVING!!!

Thanksgiving is my favorite day and holiday!!! You've got all the food and family you can handle, crazy football games and sweet sweet chaos with out the greed of getting presents on Christmas. Don't get me wrong I LOOVE Christmas.. I mean it's Jesus' Birthday and there is no better time of the year. But I think the meaning of Christmas gets lost in all the hustle and bustle and is found at Thanksgiving! Everyone is with their families and friends and everyone is lovin' on each other!

My mother calls me the Thanksgiving Nazi because I am very particular about the kind of food we have. You see my Great-Grandmere's stuffing is something that I will not go with out on Thanksgiving. One year we were at my Grandma's house and there was no "Geat-Grandmere's Stuffing" to be found... I went into the back room and cried and cried... I basically threw a fit like a 5 year old when I was about 17. And this year was noo different! It was actually more important to me that we ate Great-Grandmere's stuffing this year because this was the first year she wasn't with us. She passed away a few months ago and we missed her but she was there in our hearts and in the stuffing!!!

Whlep! We just finished our last group project before graduating! It was due at 5 o' clock today. And let me tell ya.. I really didn't want to work on that thing anymore. So now I'm 1 presentation, 1 quiz and 2 tests away from V-I-C-T-O-R-Y! Oooor graduation.. which ever you want to call it!

I'm home for Thanksgiving. Taking a little break from reality! Played some ultimate frisbee at Zilker Park today with some buds! I'm not so good at this throwing frisbee business but I did attempt. I tried to throw it to Billy and ended up throwing it to Pecos who was like 8 people to the right of Billy... way way off! O well!

Twilight Movie

Anticipation... Excitement... Edward... Bella... Vampires... all of these things were going through my head while I waited in the theater for 3 hours for the midnight premiere of Twilight. First scene rolls... not so bad... then it keeps going and I find myself slightly disappointed, disappointed and laughing. For those of you Twilight fans whom haven't seen the movie yet I will not spoil it for you... some people said they really loved it. But you have to understand that I cried through this book and had dreams about Edward. I laughed through the movie during places that my stomach flipped and I couldn't wait to see whats next.

I will say that the kissing scene, though way off from the book, way hot hot HOT. And the sparkling in the sun was on point and beautiful! And these two reason are the only reasons why I will go see the next three movies. These and Robert Pattinson... he sure made one hot Edward Cullen!

Tea Fire Destroys parts of Westmont College, but Oprah's mansion is Untouched

I spoke to my brother around 7 30 PM Thursday evening and he was about to go for a walk with Katie. it must have been minutes after that him and his fellow students were evacuated to the gym because of a wild fire raging behind the Clark dorm. Clark is where my brother and our friend Tom are RAs. We still don't know if all of Clark has to be torn down because of the damage the fire caused. Their Resident Director's home was destroyed along with 14 other faculty homes and other academic buildings on campus.

Everyone is safe.. and don't worry Oprah's Montecito Mansion is untouched!

I applied for two different internships with TOMS Shoes. I really really wanna do this! Pray for me!! Or just flood the TOMS inbox about why i'm so great for this. just kidding, don't do that.. PEC I MEAN IT!

Family Guy

So this is probably the most pointless TV show ever. I have never watch this show EVER. It runs along the same lines as The Simpsons... a total waste of 30 minuts of my life that i can't get back. I am ashamed to say that this show is growing on me... Actully, the baby of the show... stuey (if thats even how you spell it). He is soo negative and awful.. its great... Just thought I would let you in on that littel bit of info... its pointless but I thought I would make use of this waste of 30 minuts and be productive and write something.
